My Summer Blogging for Lincoln Center

As summer rolled through New York City, and Broadway geared up for its latest season, I took time away from Times Square and travelled uptown, to Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, where I spent the warmer months working as the cultural institutions first Blogger-in-Residence.  It was a truly exciting opportunity, not only because I had a chance to go behind-the-scenes at Lincoln Center, but that I was given the opportunity to soak up as much of the Summer at Lincoln Center programming that I could fit into my schedule.

From the Mostly Mozart Festival and Lincoln Center Out of Doors to Midsummer Night Swing and Lincoln Center Festival, there was something from nearly every category of the cultural arts scene for me to learn more about.  My blog was hosted on Lincoln Center’s website, and chronicled nearly every adventure I took at the Upper West Side campus, as well as events taking place off-site, including Governors Island — a location I had never visited before seeing a Lincoln Center program.
