Broadway fans were first introduced to original music from Broadway’s upcoming ‘Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark’ during a recent performance by actor/musician Reeve Carney on “Good Morning America,” but up until last night, the writers of that song — U2’s Bono and the Edge — haven’t played the song for audiences.
During a stop on their 360 Tour in Portugal, U2 debuted the song “Boy Falls From the Sky” to a crowd of nearly 55,000 screaming fans. Bono introduced the song as a thank you to the band’s fans. “We want to try something we have never played before. This could be interesting. This is ‘Boy Falls From the Sky.'”
