Broadway fans were first introduced to original music from Broadway’s upcoming ‘Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark’ during a recent performance by actor/musician Reeve Carney on “Good Morning America,” but up until last night, the writers of that song — U2’s Bono and the Edge — haven’t played the song for audiences. During a stop on their 360 Tour in Portugal, U2 debuted the song “Boy Falls From the Sky” to a crowd of nearly 55,000 screaming fans. Bono introduced the song as a thank you to the band’s fans. “We want to try something we have never played before. This could be interesting. This is ‘Boy Falls From the Sky.'” Watch video of the debut performance below:
